Organizing for America (OFA) is an outgrowth of Barack Obama’s presidential campaign, an unprecedented national effort to keep the grassroots movement built during that campaign organized and working together for change. In Massachusetts, thousands of volunteers helped elect President Obama, and through OFA-MA we continue organizing in order to make the platform we campaigned on a reality. Nearly 500 volunteers attended the OFA-MA Grassroots Organizing Forum in May, and local groups continue to grow and organize.
