Video: The Wonderful Women of Emerge Massachusetts

Expert video producer and Ward 6 Vice Chair Barbara John has announced a new video--she writes of this most recent release:

Emerge Massachusetts is an organization that supports and trains women who want to enter public life. Massachusetts has been behind other states in the number of women elected to local and state wide office. Only 26% of the state legislature is female; three women have been elected to the US House of Representatives and none to the US Senate. So, Emerge Masssachusetts addresses itself to this problem. In this video, five current graduates speak about their hopes, aspirations, and experiences in Emerge Massachusetts.
