Mayor David Cohen & co
Prior to the breakfast, host Mayor David Cohen poses with the Co-Chair of the Newton Democratic City Committee, Tim Snyder, keynote speaker State Auditor Joe DeNucci, Tim's son Garrett Colgan-Snyder and Garrett's friend Jess Solley. The event was well attended and as usual, well orchestrated, bringing together residents of Newton committed to diversity and tolerance. This year's breakfast was very emotional with the defeat of the override ballot the previous day, the recent news of Senator Kennedy's illness and the week's earlier announcement of Mayor David Cohen's decision not to seek re-election.
