Winter 2010 W6 events and activities to be posted early next year.
To George Mansfield and Ken Parker: THANK YOU!
The Ward 6 Democratic Committee met at the Women's Club last Sunday. After doing a little business including dues and filling the last of our open seats -- welcome new members Kate, Kelly, Karen, Sandra, Dick and Paul! -- we took some time to honor the amazing tenture of serivce given to Newton by George Mansfield and Ken Parker. Thanks to the many ward six residents, municipal elected officials and members of our state delegation who shared their thoughts and kind words. Below is the resolution passed by the Committee, and a picture of George and Ken preparing to dig into a tasty cake!
