Governor Healey signed the PROTECT ACT on August 5th

Governor Healey made history by signing the PROTECT Act into law in Massachusetts on August 5th. This groundbreaking legislation establishes the nation's strongest safeguards against what supporters describe as harmful and unlawful practices by President Donald Trump's administration and ICE. Under the new law, ICE will be barred from operating in courthouses, schools, child care facilities, hospitals, and other health care settings. ICE has no place in our communities and we are proud to stand alongside Governor Healey as she stands up for our neighbors. Visit this link to learn more about this critical law.
