Martin Luther King, Jr. Day is Monday, January 17th. To honor this day, let’s build community and feed community, together.
In that spirit, we are sharing information about two ways to connect over the next week.
In conjunction with a great online program (more details below), the Rotary Club of Newton- along with The Village Bank - is running a Food Pantry Drive to benefit our city’s Food Pantries. Between 1/10 - 1/15, you can drop donations at any Village Bank branch, at Scandinavian Living Center, the Newton Police headquarters or at City Hall.

Many schools and houses of worship are also participating so please donate to these collection opportunities as well!

Breakfast cereal
Jam or jelly
Hearty soups
Toothpaste
Body lotion
In addition, please join your fellow Newton residents at the annual community MLK Day event.
